Fairy Door Hunt

Running for the duration of the School Holidays

The KWIC Town Fairy Door Hunt starts on Thursday 28th and will continue right through the school holidays, ending August 14th.

Buy your entry form for £1 at the Fun Junction toy shop on Crieff High Street. The doors have been decorated by various local kids clubs, kids organisations and child care business’. With one entry from the ‘young at heart’.

The entry form lists all the shop names that hold a fairy door in their window. You must write down the name of the group/school etc that decorated the door (their name will be clearly visible on the door or displayed on a card next to the door).

Return your entry form back to the Fun Junction by the end of the school holidays (14th August) to be included in a prize draw (the shop closes at 5pm). GOOD LUCK 🧚🏼‍♂️🚪

KWIC FAIRY TRAIL and PETER RABBIT TRAIL

ALL WEEK LONG!!!!

Enjoy our community effort. Colourful and calming. Bring a picnic and tell Grandad he’ll need his flask! Spot the characters of the Peter Rabbit stories and name them.

Then move on to our fairy trail and see if you can set eyes on the Morgan’s Wood fairies.

Free to attend. An intergenerational activity with plenty to ignite the imagination.

The Peter Rabbit trail is buggy and wheelchair friendly.

The Fairy Trail can be viewed from the pathway but the trail route is off of the path which may not be as easy for a wheelchair.

Morgan’s Wood, sharing the grounds of MacRosty/Taylor/Mungal park

The car park is reached via Milnab Street through to Turretbank Road

An overflow car park will be set up adjacent to MacRosty car park on Gala Day (15th) and on ‘Mash Up In MacRosty’ (17th)

From here cross the footbridge and follow the signs.

KWIC OLLY MARS TRIBUTE NIGHT

One artist 2 fantastic characters.

Olly Murs and Bruno Mars are 2 of today’s most popular solo male artists.

Andrew Gray’s Authentic Tribute to both characters is a non-stop, high-energy show, guaranteed to fill any dance floor.

Suitable for all ages.

The show is 45mins Olly Murs Hits/Covers & 45 Mins Bruno Mars Hits/Covers – cover hits include James Brown Medley, Superstition (Stevie Wonder), September (Earth Wind & Fire), Can’t Stop The Feeling (Justin Timberlake), and more.

Parking is limited, if you are in Crieff please walk if you can. If you are coming from further afield you can park at Leadenflower car park (signposted on Crieff’s east high street, the car park’s postcode is PH7 3JE, google maps link, click here). From here it’s a short walk up, turn right onto East High Street heading east. Take the road up the hill just beside the petrol station and you’ll find the hall on your right.

Family Ceilidh Night

This family-friendly evening went down a treat last year.

The Blackford Fiddle Group are with for music and entertainment.

Plus we have Margaret Bennett making a guest appearance.

What’s more Gourlays Co. will be providing a two course dinner and are running a bar.

Crieff & Strathearn Rugby Club Open Day

Rugby Nippers are staging a fundraiser for Crieff & Strathearn Rugby Club for boys and girls aged 2 to 5 years old as part of the fantastic Kids’ Week in Crieff 2018 at the Crieff & Strathearn Rugby Club. We are holding a series of rugby themed games for your little nippers to come along and enjoy! These include obstacle courses, mini rugby games, ripper tag games and much more. 100% of the entry costs will go to Crieff & Strathearn Rugby Club which helps all children across Crieff & Strathearn to have the opportunity to try rugby. Why not bring your little nipper and get them running around for 30 minutes whilst having some great fun!
